Passion for Craftsmanship

Carl’s journey began in his grandfather’s humble workshop, nestled in the Welsh countryside.

As a child, he spent countless afternoons learning traditional woodcraft surrounded by the scent of freshly cut wood and the hum of curious tools.

This early fascination led Carl to pursue a City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, specialising in handmade furniture.

Over the years, he’s crafted everything from chairs and wardrobes to doors and tables, each project reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship.

Gerli’s connection to nature and woodwork stems from her childhood in Estonia, where she cared for her family’s forests and learned the importance of sustainability.

Her fondest memories include hiking through winter woods and replanting trees to maintain a healthy forest ecosystem.

Together, our appreciation for the natural world shapes everything we create, ensuring each project is built to last and as sustainable as possible.

Our carpentry story truly began during the first Covid-19 lockdown.

With Carl furloughed, he took a leap of faith to pursue his lifelong dream of starting his own business.

Since then, we’ve been privileged to work on incredible bespoke projects, helping clients transform their homes with custom wardrobes, media walls, under-stairs storage, and more.

Every project we undertake is fuelled by Carl’s craftsmanship and Gerli’s creative vision, with a commitment to clear communication, reliability, and a personal touch that ensures our customers feel heard and valued.
