We install and renovate both internal and external doors at affordable prices. We also renovate and replace existing windows that look tired and have condensation build up on the inside of windows.

We fit and install kitchens of most big brands available in the market, from start to finish including electrics and plumbing. We also offer kitchen refurbishment service by replacing old and tired doors, plinths, and worktops etc. This is a great way to achieve a new look with less.

- Consultation

At Carl`s Carpentry and Maintenance Service we offer a range of carpentry and maintenance services, including the design, creation, assembly, renovation and installation of wide range of projects from small handyman jobs to bespoke & custom-made storage solutions, installation of doors, staircases, kitchens, floorings and outdoor joinery, and much more.

Starting any renovation or design project can feel overwhelming. Knowing where to start, what to do with your space, choosing the right materials, the cost and so on can feel like a minefield! We can help to take the pressure off and do the hard work for you! After our initial contact, Carl, our highly experienced carpenter can arrange to come for a site visit, where he will be able to offer and advice on how to best maximise your space; create a hand drawn illustration; discuss material options and give you an accurate quote with 3D design of your project – with no pressure to commit.

At Carl`s Carpentry & Maintenance Service Ltd we like to gather as much information as possible about your exciting new project, so we can offer you the best possible advice and create a personal design that meets your budget and criteria.

To begin, fill in our online enquiry form and provide us with the details of your project, measurements if known (see measure your space article here) any ideas you already have and which of our services you require. You can also select your budget range to help us better understand what you are looking for. We will then work out the rough estimate of the cost of your project within 2-3 working days.

However, if you prefer someone to call over, then we can arrange a face-to-face site consultation visit (Covid-19 measures apply, please click here) to have a look at your space; offer advice on suitability, cost, materials, and the numerous options available. We then give you a more precise figure of the cost of your project.

- Lets talk about the cost!

At Carl`s Carpentry & Maintenance Service we desire to be accessible to everyone and that is why we place a careful attention to sourcing materials and products at cost effective prices, without compromising the quality and design.

The first consultation (online or face-to-face) is free of charge with no obligation to commit. However, if you do require a second site visit, we ask for £50 consultation fee. The site fee will be deducted from your final bill if you decide to accept our services. This fee includes one hour consultation with our highly qualified carpenter Carl, a written summary of areas discussed and detailed quote of the project. Please fill in our enquiry form today

Please note: Please note the value of the quote is what we expect to charge you for the works, based on our consultation. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or unexpected issues arising, any subsequent variation to the works or price fluctuations of material will likely result in a new or revised written quotation. This includes a fair and reasonable adjustment to the contract price and the date for completion of the works requested. You will be asked to review and sign the new or revised quotation before proceeding with the work.

BOOKING FEE – If you wish to go ahead with our services, a booking fee of £30 + VAT is payable to secure the date of work. The fee will be deducted from the final price of the job and will not cost you extra. This fee does not apply if you have already paid the £50 + VAT consultation fee for your second site visit.

- Construction Process

On the agreed start date, we normally arrive between 8-9 am and proceed to prepare the area in question ready for construction. After going over the measurements and design layout with yourselves we are ready to start work. Our carpenter Carl, will always be on site should you have any questions or like to discuss any changes. The site will be left clean and tidy at the end of each day and on completion we will review the project together and discuss any maintenance or after care that may be required.
